I'm Elisa Hernandez, here to help you plan your wedding. My journey started in politics, where I fought for things like better prisons and animal rights, but I ended up falling in love with wedding planning.
The concept for Weddings of Southern California was born from my own wedding planning experience. I found out about the “wedding tax,” which means everything costs more as soon as you say it’s for a wedding. I didn’t think that was fair, so I decided to do things differently. I’m here to make sure your wedding, big or small, is as great as it can be without all that extra cost. My aim is for you to have a blast without worrying about the little things.
As a fourth-year communications student at Cal State Fullerton, I’ve refined my skills in bringing people together and orchestrating unforgettable experiences. My knack for organization and passion for creating magical moments have been recognized through accolades, including awards for my involvement in Model United Nations.
By day, I navigate the corporate world as a Paralegal in finance, but by night, I work meeting with amazing couples and perfecting the details of their special day. These roles keep the lights twinkling as I pursue my education in event planning, all while crafting the perfect blueprint for your dream wedding.
I recently had the pleasure of working with the Newport Beach Film Festival. I’ve dove headfirst into the world of promotion, making waves on radio stations and forging partnerships with collegiate supporters. Through collaborations with esteemed institutions like the UCI Paul Merage School of Business and the Latinx Resource Center, I swiftly navigated negotiations, and showcased adaptability to meet stakeholders needs.
